The "Zebra Print" is the Carcinoid Cancer Color

On Monday November 26 I will have surgery to remove my lower left lung where a carcinoid tumor was discovered.  I have already been receiving nice gifts from friends and I wanted to use the Faith and Hope stamp like I did for my daughter to send out thank you cards.  My tag is actually part of the card and is attached, so it can not be used as a bookmark...but I found some zebra print cardstock in a 4 x 6 pack and die cut the cancer ribbon.  This is what I came up with for my cards:
The inside has the poem:  Cancer is so limited.....I love that sentiment!  And I love this bible verse, too!  That's it for me tonight...I have to go get my 5 year old grandson and have a sleep over with him while his mommy and daddy are taking a couple of days to rejuvenate their hearts, souls and bodies at the beach...this cancer can really take a lot out of the whole family.  My daughter is doing so well, though...here is a picture they sent me from the beach just yesterday:

Now for an assortment of Christmas cards...

I had all the stamps sets except Peaceful Pinecones, but my BFF had that, so I remembered to use it to make a card...

And my final "hugs" card was kept very CAS...a little twine and scalloped edge and I called it good.  This felt so good to get back to creating.  I even made a few Christmas cards which I will post here too.  We actually one made cards one full day...my BFF had lots of activities planned for us and then I suggested a craft room maker over...and she liked the idea, so we went to IKEA and purchased some bookcases and some CD/DVD towers...then of course you know we had to come home to put them all together...but she LOVES her new space...so organized and clean!  After all that we were able to spend the final day making cards.  In a couple of weeks I will not be doing much of anything.  I will have my surgery to remove my lower left lung in order to get rid of the carcinoid cancer...I may be laid up for a bit of time...so I best post all that I made now while I am able. Thanks for taking a look!

The "hugs" is scripted alphabet, the flowers and the sentiment are all from the Sending You stamp set.  I added a few blings to the center.

Here is another 'hugs' with the script alphabet die...this time I added a little scallop edge and the sending you is from simple sunflowers...the flower is Pretty Peony and the leaves are from Turning A New Leaf.

My BFF, Linda, had the Script alphabet die, so I took advantage of that and cut out "Hugs" several times...this first one I used the Natural Beauties flowers and the Sending you is from the Simple Sunflower.

I made a trip to Seattle for my BFF's retirement party...she was OVER THE MOON excited about retiring...she thought she would need to work until age 65, but a retirement planner worked the numbers and gave her the green light two years ahead of schedule.  After not making many cards for the last couple of months it felt good to create.  I really liked this MIM and ..so away I went with making cards.  I made four of these so I would have them to send to my elderly aunts:

I used my Simple Sunflowers and the stamps and dies from Count My Blessings.
